VISIT THE USA / CANADA / SOUTH AMERICA IN 2020
There is a huge choice of direct flights from Ireland to the USA including Boston, Chicago, Orlando, Hartford Connecticut, LA, Miami, Minneapolis, NYC, Seattle, Atlanta, Charlotte North Carolina, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington.
Low deposits from €100 per person can secure your trip so don’t delay and pick up the great early booking prices.
We are already noticing an increase in USA bookings for 2020 and expect our top 2019 USA destinations to continue to sell well including New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, Mexico and the Caribbean. We also see a growth in demand for fly/drive and mobile home holidays – perhaps motivated by the Daniel and Majella series earlier this year.
We are building terrific itineraries for the Deep South, West coast LA – San Francisco, Route 66 and discovering New England to name the top few.
Tip: The shoulder season of May, early June and September are good months to travel to avoid the peak prices of July/August and the crowds.
Demand for cruising out of the USA remains strong and with the ease of direct flights into Seattle and Vancouver we have seen an increased demand for Alaska cruising. This is proving to be a popular honeymoon choice for 2020 with many combining with city, cruise and/or beach into the one trip. Combining Vancouver with Vancouver Island and/or Whistler is also very popular.
South America is also high on the trending list.
With great connections via the USA and Canada the value on airfares are getting better every year. There is an abundance of choice in how to discover South America from independent travelling to the growing range of small group tours for all ages and all activity levels on offer. This is a great way to make the most of your time, get around safely and maximise your experience with the local knowledge and insight of expert guides.
Try a Multi-Centre Holiday
A multi-centre holiday means visiting two or more destinations during your trip and offers great value for money on your longhaul flight. It is a fantastic way to tick several locations off your wish list in one go, and we can offer you expert guidance every step of the way for a tailored service to suit you. In many ways a multi-centre holiday can feel like two or three trips in one, allowing travellers to maximise their flexibility and time spent at individual destinations. There are many airlines to choose from including Aer Lingus who have widened their network across America making it very easy and cost effective to arrange a multi-centre holiday.
A popular family itinerary would include the direct flight to Orlando the ‘theme park capital of the world’, then spend a few days in Miami where you can pick up a Caribbean cruise before flying home. Alternatively, skip the cruise and explore the Florida Keys taking in great outdoor activities, watersports and beautiful beaches. Make sure to allow space in your luggage – Orlando is a great shopping destination.
Shopping Destinations That’ll Make You Swoon
Also if shopping is on your agenda, Philadelphia is great for tax free shopping and Minneapolis or Seattle are good for those looking for an alternative to New York so bear this in mind when planning your multi-centre USA trip.
If you fancy the West Coast, why not start in San Francisco and enjoy driving the world famous Pacific Coast Highway taking in some amazing stops eg Monterey, Santa Cruise, Santa Barbara, Malibu, LA. Finish off with San Diego for some Beach time or drive on for the heady heights of Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon before flying home.
We are very knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to this type of holiday to feel free to talk to us any time about your next USA multi-centre holiday.
